Hüseyin Acar entered the business world before 1970s by marketing footwear and operating a grocery shop. With the growing up of his children, and in the developing economical conditions of the time, he was appointed as the distributor of Pepsi Cola and Efes Pilsen in his portfolio during 1977. After adding Aygaz A.Ş. to these distribution net in 1983, he established Hüseyin ACAR and Sons partnership in 1984, taking the first steps towards institutional structure.

Becoming a Çaykur dealer in 1985 with this partnership, the enterprise has entered into the field of wholesale food marketing. The enterprise has received a Petrol Ofisi dealership in 1986, and has opened a gas station. Shortly afterwards, it was developed under the name of ACARLAR TİCARET SANAYİ VE TURİZM A.Ş., after its entry into the trade registry in 27.12.1988 under the number Dalaman/173, and announced in the Trade Registry Gazette issue 2208 in 10.02.1989. After this date, our firm has undersigned many successful operations by taking the dealerships and distributorships of many manufacturers in the wholesale food marketing sector. It has built up the first link of its chain stores by forming YEDAŞ GIDA MAD. TİCARET SANAYİ A.Ş. in 1988. Continuing its advancement, our firm has added DALAMAN ACARLAR GIDA MAD. TİC. SAN.VE TUR.LTD.ŞTİ and BİLİCANLAR GIDA MAD.TİC.SAN.VE TUR. LTD. ŞTİ to its range in 1999. It has started to operate in the insurance sector in early 2000, by forming ACARLAR SİGORTA ARACILIK HİZMETLERİ LTD.ŞTİ which is an A class agency for ANADOLU SİGORTA. Furthermore, it has opened its second store in the Dalyan district of Ortaca Town during the first half of 2000, followed by the third store in the second half of the same year under the name of ORTACA SHOPPING CENTER in connection with YEDAŞ A.Ş. at Central District of Ortaca Town. With the formation of ACARLAR MAL VE HİZMET ÜRETİM ARACILIK GIDA TEMZ.İNŞ.NAKL.MADEN VE SU ÜRÜNLERİ AKARYAKIT TEKSTİL REKLAMCILIK İTH.İHR.SAN.TİC.VE TUR.LTD.ŞTİ. in 21.07.2003, it has added an OPET gas station to its portfolio in 28.01.2004. Since then, the company is continuing to provide a contemporary, quality and healthy service to our public.
